MUSIC FOR THE MILLENNIUM Royal Marines Plymouth
Compact Disc £12.00
Released October 1999, this superb CD is contemporary music of major proportions. It has only three pieces upon it the first has three movements and the third has four movements; the second is a single item. This CD is for serious military band connoisseurs and needs to be listened to carefully to appreciate the magnitude of the works and fine playing. The second movement of the first piece “The Big Apple (A New York Symphony)” is called “Times Square” and is of street sounds of New York recorded by the composer with assorted percussion backing. Its certainly different! Tracks as follows: The Big Apple; a name perpetual; Dance Movements – Philip Sparke. |

Listen to it alone, uninterrupted and with headphones in a darkened room – fantastic! |
