Issued by the Royal Marines Historical Society (The Eastney Collection), this CD has all the music of Beating Retreat & Tattoo. The inlay has a comprehensive explanation about the ceremonies. The recordings are from 1959 to 1966 originally recorded by EMI at the famous Abbey Road Studios. A donation from each CD sold goes to the Deal Memorial Bandstand Trust in Deal. The second half of the programme has music suitable for a bandstand concert.
