The Mountbatten Festival of Music in the Royal Albert Hall is recorded annually in February. The amount of material used in the subsequent CD is limited to only 80 minutes of the two and a half hour concert. If you have every wondered what happens to the left out titles, the answer is that they are saved until an opportunity like this occurs when they can be used. In no way are these items inferior as the playing, as in all the Mountbatten Festival of Music concerts, is superb. The covers and inlay are printed in a very classy gold on black. Total playing time: a huge 78 minutes 31 seconds! |
