THE KING’S SQUAD Commando Training Centre, Lympstone Conductor: Captain Nick Grace Narration: Rt Hon Lord Ashdown of Norton-Sub-Hamdon KBE
Compact Disc only £12.00
A new CD issued March 2002. One of the regular engagements undertaken by the CTC band is that of the King’s Squad pass out parades. The parade marks the end of the recruit’s training and qualifies him as a commando. At the events the band is always in attendance. This CD is interspersed with narration by Paddy Ashdown, himself a former Royal Marines Officer, who explains the happenings at these events. A very entertaining recording with a nicely presented inlay. Total playing time 72 minutes 40 seconds. |
